"While walking the cemetary in Milform, Michigan I ran across a grave marker of Lizzie (41) dod 4-8-1883 and Lena (13) Austin (her daughter) dod 11-22-1885.

The interesting thing about the grave marker is a womans neckless tied on to the top of the stone (it appears to have been placed there many years ago), I attached a photo on this site, as you can see it appears to have a bottle of holy water attached to the neckless.

Being that the Austins have been dead for over a hundered years, questions come to mind as to by whom and why it was placed there?

Anyone out there with any knowledge of this type neckless may want to leave a little note giving it a date and any other information known about it."
